Jurassic World Campaign

Universal and OpenText teamed up for a campaign to create a one-of-a-kind customer journey experience.

For this campaign, I worked with product marketing, copywriting, other designers and the Universal team to discuss a strategy for email, social, paid search, paid social/display, web, retail, comms, affiliate, etc.

One big challenge for us was creating the link between Jurassic World and Webroot Antivirus. After exploration, we came up with the theme of “Huge protection from colossal-sized threats.” This was accompanied with a giveaway to win a trip to Universal and a surprise Jurassic World package.

The life of this campaign was from June-August, 2023. Some stats from the overall campaign were:

Paid Media: 11k visits, 4% conv rate

Giveaway: 16k+ entries

Organic Social: Increase in engagement for all platforms

  • 10.5% follower growth on Instagram in a single week

  • 754 net IG followers

  • 330% lift in Twitter net audience growth

  • 90 net Twitter followers

  • 563 new Facebook fans

  • 1375 engagements on #WiFiSecurity tweet featured in giveaway entry
